Pharmacy Technician Certification And Their Curric

If you’re a pharmacist and you have in your hands two application letters, one applicant has a pharmacy technician certification and the other one doesn’t have any, who would you choose. Of course, the obvious choice is the certified pharmacy technician over the other non-certified applicant. Even though a certification or even just a formal training is not a requirement to be a pharmacy technician, pharmacists and employers prefer those individuals that are certified by either the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or the Institute for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians. Then again, a being certified and finishing a training program are the best combination for a pharmacy technician.
