How to report an immigration violation in Los Angeles, a person working without work permit not paying taxes?

Call ICE.
Toll free: 1-866-DHS-2-ICE

But how would you know? They recieve thousands of calls every day from people complaining that some Mexican looking guy has a job. They have better things to do than follow-up on baseless accusations about one cashier at Wendy’s.

How many Violation Notices does it take to get your account suspended?

Tuesday, June 1st, 2010

in my last account, only a few of my questions and answers were reported and my account got suspended. I’ve gotten several violation notices emaisl in the past couple of days and my account has not been suspended yet. what gives?
I mean, I don’t want my account suspended, but hasn’t it been yet since I’ve gotten so many violation notices emails?

It doesn’t matter the number of violation notices you get it depends on how severe the violation notice is.
Remember: each violation notice is a warning under your account
Also appeal and if you win it your answer/question is reposted again if you don’t win it you will lose 10 points

Is gun control a violation of the Bill of Rights? How can public safety and personal rights coexist?

Is gun control a violation of the Bill of Rights? How can public safety and personal rights coexist?

Gun Control Defined…….
A theory espoused by some people; who claim to believe, that a violent predator who ignores the laws prohibiting them from robbing, raping, kidnapping, torturing and killing their fellow human beings will obey a law telling them that they cannot own a gun.

You want to fix the problem with "gun violence" you need to fix people. Gun laws and control effect only law abiding citizens… Thomas Jefferson said it best:

"The laws that forbid the carrying of arms … disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Can it be supposed that those who have the courage to violate the most sacred laws of humanity … will respect the less important and arbitrary ones … Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants, they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." — Thomas Jefferson

Border Patrol (Uvalde, TX) Violation of Fourth Amendment – 18 March 2010

Thursday, May 27th, 2010

This video shows a fourth amendment violation, harassment, and intimidation by the Border Patrol in Uvalde, Texas. The driver is a military field grade officer, decorated for heroism, with more than two years of combat deployment time. He is driving from one American city to another and has crossed no borders.

In the video the BP detains him quickly and without cause later claiming he refused to answer questions concerning his citizenship. The video shows this is clearly not the case. This charge is repeated by the supervisor who then contacts his military superiors in an (unfortunately successful) attempt to leverage his military service against him.

He was detained for more than thirty minutes without cause. He was eventually told by the officers that they appreciated his cooperation and was released. The full footage was captured on five different cameras. The footage here is limited in length by upload requirements. Legal action is pending concerning this incident and several previous at the same checkpoint.

Fortunately the driver was not assaulted for his oath-required support and defense of the U.S. Constitution. That was not the case for Baptist pastor Steven Anderson who required eleven stitches and new windows for exercising his rights at a Border Patrol station. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SD3F6gS7dvI

As the driver in this video attests, despite having conducted hundreds of operational missions in Afghanistan and Iraq, his routine travels through this checkpoint in Uvalde Texas have given him the most concern for his personal safety.

If you are concerned about the erosion and ignoring of the very essence of freedom contained in the fourth amendment, please send this video to your Congressman with a request for an immediate investigation into this incident. Why was it a violation that Jay Leno wrote his own monologues during the writer’s strike?

Sunday, May 23rd, 2010

I read that it was a violation of WGA terms that Jay Leno wrote his own monologues during the writer’s strike. Why is this?

Probably because the original union agreement took away his right to do so. Jay was required to obey Union agreements, whether they were striking, or not. Union labor means the employees Rep’s dictate the terms of the employment – not the person paying for the job to get done.
Jay could possibly, dump the union workers, and hire non union writers, but, if he did, every other union employee working for him would strike too – if they weren’t already in support of the writers. Such is freedom when one is forced to employ union labor.

Los Angeles’ Right-Turn Red Light Camera Trap

Sunday, May 23rd, 2010

Violation video from a Los Angeles, California red light camera citation at the intersection of Sepulveda and Victory taken January 4, 2010. The trick is that for a brief moment after the yellow turns to red, a green arrow gives allows drivers to turn. The location traps people caught by the in-between period.

Why get a violation for using female dog under a dog contexte?

Thursday, May 20th, 2010

My yahoo friend got a violation and deletion for saying she had a female dog and typing the b word with letters missing. This is kind of unfair don’t you think?

Very unfair, bordering on the idiotic.

If that term was used as an adjective in a "non dog sense", then yes, the violation would be deserved. HOWEVER, I would imagine your friend posted her question in the dogs section and was therefor using the term in a descriptive and non offensive way. Anyone that found the term offensive when describing a dog has demonstrated their total lack of knowledge when it comes to K9 matters.
