    I’m sorry to all …
    I’m sorry to all you Who fans out there, but the actual lyrics lack melody, it in some ways makes there music crap.

    I must say their ideas with instruments are creative, but thats only the good thing I can say about them, and one more bad thing, their egos are revolting.

    Everything on sell …
    Everything on sell out is so weird, like, don’t get me wrong, its amazing, but like, only 4 of the songs even ever made it to the stage, Relax, Mary Anne, Tattoo, and This, the rest is in such a shady place, its almost as if they made this album completely stoned in one day, and then woke up and didn’t know what the they did. So pretty much, I’d love to hear more about this album directly from pete or roger, but I haven’t heard anything from them about it, besides a few boots.

    Uma das melhores …
    Uma das melhores musicas, não só do The Who, mas do Rock N’ Roll de todos os tempos.

    Ninums, what I mean …
    Ninums, what I mean is the Who did not write your typical sappy radio friendly love songs. In my opinion their best love songs were Love Reign or Me and Bargain. Most of their early songs were from the perspective of alienated teenage male angst. I’m glad to hear you appreciate them like I do. Peace.

  13. Ninums Says:

    @makingsense53 Love …
    @makingsense53 Love song? Not sure you’re making sense there, “makingsense”. This is an angry song, snarled beautifully. They couldn’t write a love song for shit, but it hardly matters – they were the antithesis of chart bands in many ways. As a now middle-aged woman I have a huge appreciation of their entire back catalogue and even have them on my “ringtones”, although I prefer their 70s work. Maybe it’s because I’m as curmudgeonly as Townshend these days that I can appreciate them more.

    This song was …
    This song was indirectly responsible for metal. Pete said the song was ‘the loudest and dirtiest song ever’. So Paul McCartney read this and though he’d write an even dirtier louder one.’helter skelter’ and inadvertently invented heavy metal.
