The second phase involves the utilization of the information gathered in the first stage. A project management office is established and a structured project plan and control processes are rolled out for all the new projects as well as the previously running projects. Under the project management office jobs are assigned, formal guidelines for the project management, and a website and a web based system to update project status are created. All these tools are necessary for the smooth running of the project office. Once the project management team is in place and trained, the entire organization is trained to deal with the new systems. After this is achieved the consultants role changes from the project management team to project management support.
