How should we reward the national media for their reporting of the Gulf pollution by big oil?

The coverage of the incident in the Gulf has been most generous in our favor. How should we reward the national media?

Why should you reward them for doing their job? The fact that they don’t report the hundreds of functioning rigs that don’t have a problem is hardly the sign of good journalism.

By shutting the hell up and letting people do their jobs instead of coming on here and whining about things that are inconsequential.

Honestly, it is the fault of big oil. It is their mess to clean up. They should be held accountable. What is so wrong with doing that?
